July 30, 2014 ·. Updated ferry wait times from Washington State Ferries: 2.5 hours at the Kingston terminal, 1 hour at the Bainbridge terminal. Kingston is short a boat; Bainbridge still has two ferries, but our guess is that many people who normally ride the Kingston route are heading to BI instead, causing the backup there.
